Hello! My name is Molly (몰더). I have been in the korean world for 7 years now but just recently discovered this site. I am currently studying the korean language and culture. I will be moving to korea in a year so I hope to learn as much as I can from you all now before i go. I hope to communicate with you all in Hangul and English.
Hi! Maychan, Molly is "몰리". you already know that, if i guess.
Hello! I am writing to you because I am very disappointed and my heart as a mother is broken. My son is a big fan of BTS. Shortly after 7 March is his birthday. How he found out that there will be a BTS concert in London was the happiest in the world! He asked me if I could buy tickets for their concert on him 11th birthday. I agreed because my son never asked for anything. Today, at 8:30 in the morning, the sale of tickets began. When I saw the ticket price close to the stage, I was very happy because they were for £ 175 and I want to buy tickets.Me and my friend tried to buy tickets from four different devices (computer, tablet, phone and laptop).Unfortunately, we did not manage to get a ticket :-( even the cheapest one in the last row :-( At that moment, I had tears. I broke down :-( how can I tell my son that I do not have tickets? My heart is cracking :-( It was difficult to do everything to buy these tickets. My disappointment came a few minutes after I failed to buy tickets on ticketsmaster.co.uk.On other websites, there are tickets to buy for this concert. The problem is that the ticket prices are cosmic! Ticket prices, which officially cost on ticketsmaster.co.uk £ 45 on these websites are priced from £ 300. Ticket prices the closer to the stage, the more expensive. The prices reach even £ 1200 at the stage. I broke down!!! I do not understand how it is possible that on the official site of the ticketsmaster I could not buy any ticket at a reasonable price, and on other sites there is a lot of them to sell, but for a very high price! My son broke down and crying as I told him that I could not buy a ticket. Looking at my son, my heart is broken:-( I am furious that other people or companies somehow bought a large amount of tickets and now sell for such high prices so do not afford me to buy such expensive tickets! I think this is no fair!!! Why does someone want to earn so much from the fact that someone is a big fan and how much more people will pay to have a ticket. I feel cheated. I tried to buy tickets from four devices and I did not succeed! As far as I know, not only me! Personally, I can not afford to buy such expensive tickets from these other sites. Please help me explain this situation to my son because he is broken! My son feels very disappointed!.He asked me, "Mother, how is this possible?" BTS loves its fans! We are important to them! We are BTS Army so why do they agree to sell such expensive tickets? Please, tell me what to answer him? You are a model for him to follow, he loves you. Thanks to you, my son fell in love with South Korea. He started to learn Korean. He is so proud of you! Would like to be like you! and he does not mean fame. So, please help me explain to him why something happen like this situation with prices for the tickets??? I cant explain, could you? He ask me “ mum do you think the boys from BTS know the situation what happen? If yes do you think boys are happy because will be earn money? If yes what mean for BTS there fans? He is totally disappointed and very much saddened by this situation. Please help me to explain him this situation! Regards Kamila xxx. Xaviers huge BTS fan mum :-)
